You will participate in a number of Brownfield and Greenfield projects for both front end planning studies and detailed engineering phases of multidisciplinary projects. Working visas for self and family will be arranged and financed by the client on successful negotiation of a contract and full relocation costs and support will be provided.

Job Description
Principal Responsibilities:
* Prepare design calculations, specifications, scopes of work and other technical documents, as well as technical review of the civil and structural work
* Analysis and design of concrete and heavy steel industrial structures
* Oversee the production of detailed design drawings of reinforced concrete foundations and structural steel
* Maintain technical knowledge to ensure appropriate technologies are incorporated into designs
* Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards and internal procedures
* Prepare material take-offs and cost estimates
* Supervision of structural design teams and sub-consultants, and co-ordination of structural project work
* Mentor and assist in the development of graduate engineers
Requirements
* A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or in a related engineering discipline
* 5 years structural design experience in the mining, minerals processing or energy industries or other heavy industry
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills and excellent knowledge of Computer-aided Structural Analysis
* Sound knowledge of local and/or international design codes
