Area Project Manager Job Description
An Area Project Manager (APM) is required to work for a global leading construction company performing a Project Management Services role on behalf of the client on a large residential development. The development comprises of several residential areas, each having an approximate area of 1,000 Ha and includes the new Jubail University College campus. The project will be located in the rapidly developing industrial city of Jubail in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
Area Project Managers Duties
As the APM you will be responsible for:
- The planning and execution of contracts for all the residential areas in Jubail.
- Initiate the projects developing scope with originating departments through to hand over and close-out.
- Achieving the expenditure forecast.
Area Project Manager Experience Required
- A degree in Engineering or similar equivalent is essential
- Substantial experience in project / engineering / construction management in the civils and / or the residential sector is essential
- Previous design experience
- Experienced in project and construction planning and budgeting
- Possess a high level of professional integrity, accountability and initiative.
- A proven achiever with excellent communication skills, able to present well coupled with the ability to establish a good rapport with the client
