Site Agent South London Upto £45k plus package U4226
Excellent job opportunity within highways schemes.... There is currently a urgent job vacancy for a Highways Schemes Agent to head up a team on a busy highway term maintenance contract in South London. This is a high profile contract worth £30M per year 60% of which will be spent on innovative highways schemes working in conjunction with TfL. The work is varied and will continue through to 2013. Projects will include: Bridges, subways, town centre improvement, safety schemes and major carriage way reconstruction.
The successful candidate will manage a team of experienced supervisors and their gangs on a day to day basis ensuring quality and standards are upheld.
Duties include: Dealing with Supervisors and Sub Contractors Dealing with all site related paperwork, Method Statements, Health and Safety Documentation Dealing with Contract Documentation Site Inspections for H + S and Quality on a weekly bases Working on the TLRN with experience in working with Transport for London Providing detailed feedback on a weekly bases on progress and issues that might affect the program Computer Skills Good understanding of Chapter 8 and Traffic Management Experience with resurfacing and other improvement schemes on highways. Drivers Licence First Aid, CSCS, NRSWA training.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must have a background in highways and commitment to providing quality project to time and budget. They would need to be extremely client facing with excellent communication skills and possess strong leadership skills. NRSWA Certificate Supervisory Be ambitious and hard working IT Literacy A professional attitude Previous experience in a similar role.
