2xSenior Quantity Surveyors Job Description
A leading UK civil engineering contractor requires 2 Senior Quantity Surveyors for their North West contracts. The role will be site based and may involve some travel around the region.
Typical projects are roads and bridges for both the local authorities and private clients ranging between £3M - £30M under various forms of contract.
Senior Civils Quantity Surveyor Duties
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out all commercial activities relevant to one or more civil engineering projects depending on value, including;
- Variations
- Commercial Reporting
- Pricing Compensation Events
- Procuring and managing sub-contractors
- Supervising and training junior staff
Quantity Surveying Experience Required
The successful candidate will typically have: - BSc (Hons) or similar recognised equivalent in Quantity Surveying
- A background of working for a leading civil engineering contractor in the UK.
- Experience of working on medium to large scale civil engineering projects (£3M+)
- The ability to carry out the duties above with the minimum level of supervision.

They have an annual turnover of approximately £300M and offices in many parts of the UK.
