Contracts Formation Specialist Job Description
A Contracts Formation Specialist is required to work for a global leading construction company performing a Project Management Services role on behalf of the client on one of the largest civils projects in the world at present.
You will be responsible for all tasks involved in the formation and award of contracts.
The project is to expand the industrial city of Jubail in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. This will include the expansion of King Fahd Industrial Port, pipeline refurbishment, increasing capacity of the cooling system, and new desalination plants as well as a newly built industrial rail network.
Contracts Formation Specialist Duties
As Contracts Formation Specialist you will be responsible for:
All tasks involved in the formation and award of contracts including facilitating the bid process, contractor negotiations and clients approval cycle
Advising clients management decisions regarding contract strategies and to provide supervisor instruction to clients personnel throughout contract formation stages
Coordinating contract development with clients respective disciplines
Monitoring and providing input into contract formation reports
Contracts Formation Specialist Experience Required
A Degree in a relevant subject or similar equivalent is essential
Exposure to a variety of construction / infrastructure contracts
A Technical background is preferred
Proficient in and have extensive experience with contract negotiations including recent contract formation responsibilities and detailed exposure to preparation of bills of quantities
Proficient in contract negotiations
Ability to manage and handle several contracts in various stages of formation
