Job Description: Focus of Role The primary focus of the role is to maintain the project equipment fleet to an acceptable availability level with controlled costs and minimum turnaround time. *Accountable for the performance of the Project Workshop. The specific areas of responsibility of the role *Maintain workshop records, equipment records and registers in accordance with the clients Business System (MBS) *Manage the site workshop and provide leadership for Workshop personnel *Co-ordinate all plant maintenance, servicing and repair activities to optimise operation of the project fleet. *Maintains stocks of material supplies at appropriate levels within budget *Plans and implements scheduled inspections and servicing of plant and equipment on a monthly basis *Assists in servicing, maintaining and repairing plant and equipment *Achieve equipment availability of >=95% *Liaise with the Project Superintendent on daily and weekly work priorities *Liaise with external providers to provide feedback and coordination on plant maintenance and repair *Supervise sub contractors and Maintenance personnel on site + ensure that they comply with all the client + contractors policies and procedures *Ensure all Workshop personnel employed or subcontracted are suitably qualified and inducted to carry out the works *Mentor Workshop personnel including apprentices Requirements: *Trade qualifications in an appropriate mechanical discipline *Not less than 5 years trade experience as a tradesperson and not less than 5 years in a workshop management role *Knowledge of a variety of Heavy Duty plant and equipment *Proven communication, leadership and team building abilities *Computer literacy *Ability to work in remote locations on flyin/flyout rotational schedules *Senior First Aid Certificate
Pakage Basic salary: ranges from E90K pa to E100K pa depending upon experience.
